Dr. John Brion, PhD, PMHNP-BC
Dr. John Brion, a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, provides psychiatric care for people aged 12 and above. While he is open to working with all psychiatric and mental concerns, he specializes in the treatment of mood disorders (anxiety and depression), ADHD in adults, and substance/behavioral addictions (alcohol, drugs, food, sex and hoarding). He is experienced in providing psychotherapy and/or psychotropic medication to address alterations in mental health.
Dr. Brion graduated with his PhD in nursing with a minor in counseling from The Ohio State University. He also holds degrees in psychology, sociology, and history. He has served on the faculty of Duke University and The Ohio State University and has published numerous journal articles. Recognition of his work includes a Fellowship in the National Academies of Practice. In addition to his formal education, Dr. Brion has received training through Harvard University Medical School Department of Psychiatry, The Beck Institute, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
Kevin Murphy, PMHNP-BC
Kevin Murphy is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful, evidence-based care to people aged 12 and older. With a background in both nursing and psychiatry, he helps clients manage a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and more.
Kevin takes a personalized approach that blends medication management with supportive therapy, always aiming to meet people where they are. Passionate about breaking the stigma around mental health, Kevin works to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered.
